Even after June 21 update still crashing every time I try and log in.
Well can't even open the app cause it crashes. I deleted and started from scratch and everytime u try and log it it shuts down. Because this app wasn't working I tried to download the Mac app to at least be able to upload data via USB and it has not been updated since 2013 and the coding won't even let it open on any of my mac computers. So I'm stuck with my new racquet and zero way to upload or update the racquet.
Another update7/21. Please tell us what's going on. I bought a new racquet months ago and it worked once before the latest update and now the app still just shuts down. There is no way to upload the info via computer either cause u put all your eggs in one basket with the app that's an epic fail. I've never seen an app go this long without a team fixing it. Ridiculous! At least add computer website support again.
Another update 9/2. They just released a new version finally and..........it crashes as soon as I try and log in! Still unusable
Still won't let me access my account - connexion error
I've been trying to log into this new app since they thoroughly updated it. I use my Facebook login that previously worked, add in the extra details, click log in and it comes back with "can't create, connexion error". This has been going on for months now and babolat apparently doesn't have a software team who knows what they're doing. Allowing your users to hang like this for so long is terrible. Now I wish I had bought the sensor that attached to the end of any racquet instead of supporting you in a business where you have no experience or expertise.
Very disappointed with new Play app
I was a very early adopter of Play. As a avid player and software engineer, Play seemed like a nice synergy of my interests. This year, the Play environment and app have taken a huge step backward.
The ability to see my progress over time (across sessions), see session break data, etc. is gone, as are the overall pulse scores. I want much MORE information about my game, not less information. I'd like to see every stroke if possible. Is my warm-up better than my game play? When did I hit that hardest forehand? Did my contact quality decrease over the course of the match? As I try to work on my technique during a lesson, how does my hitting improve? I care - a lot - about my performance and how I can improve my game. That's the only reason I can imagine anyone is willing to pay extra money for the Play. I don't think I can stress this enough. These features should be getting BETTER, not much, much worse.
I don't care - AT ALL - about Babolat marketing feeds, ATP player rankings, store locations or seeing other connected players. The tabs for "Feed", "Explore" and "Community" are all useless to me. This information is easier to find elsewhere on the Internet. It actually makes me quite angry that you have removed useful information about my game and are focusing on app features that are a complete waste of time for anyone who want to improve.
Any value of "community" page is gone - why do I have more or fewer points than someone else? At least before I could tell if I was playing more tennis or better "pulse" tennis than my peers.
I hope there are serious changes coming. I have stopped recommending Play and basically stopped using its features because the value of the information gained is so small now, it is not worth even the minimal hassle of charging my racket and downloading the data.
