BancorpSouth Mobile Banking App gives you access to your accounts from your mobile device. It allows you to view account balances, view recent account activity, transfer funds, pay bills, personal payments, remote deposit and find the nearest ATM or branch locations.
You must log into Online Banking to change your password before logging into the new BancorpSouth Mobile Banking App for the first time.

It's a Banking App- what do you expect?
Just downloaded this app, and I'm providing an initial impression-type review. This app isn't "oh wow" or technologically impressive....but it's a banking app. Personally I don't care if the app is pretty and extraordinarily interactive. I don't need it to be. This app enables you to view the balance of your account(s); facilities check deposits, fund transfers, and bill pay. What more do you need?
My only recommended improvement is regarding the redundant security login. Recommend doing what, for example, USAA bank does. They provide the option for "Touch ID" for iPhone users. Quick. Simple. Effective. Or- just enter a PIN instead of a lengthily password.

Fast-app switching (ie, backgrounding the Bancorpsouth app) means you have to enter login & password again. Seems excessive to have to do so each time you need to, say, look at you calendar or calculator app. At this point, the app just feels second rate. I will not be a Bancorpsouth customer for much longer for this reason alone. Mobile banking has become indispensable to me; Bancorpsouth still treats it as a luxury used by just a few of its customers.
UPDATE: Two iPhones and iOS updates later I have returned to BCS for business banking. The app is largely unchanged. Yes, it's functional, but that's about it. I would strongly encourage the tech folks at BCS to take a look at any other banking app for guidance. Please! Start with USAA mobile, which is the gold standard in this user's opinion.
The app is way behind. Security question every time I change IP or location - this is a mobile device...
No support for touchID.
Multitasking PIN - sorry guys, just false sense of “security”. Need an option to disable it.

Can't login to my account. Using the password reset has ended with a locked out account telling me to call the 888 #. Unfortunately, my cell, work, and home phone all get a fast busy signal.
I tried the chat and was connected to "Jessica" who claimed to be a specialist (robot) and then said "a specialist will be with you soon. This was followed by a half hour of "Jessica" saying 'please wait while a secure chat connection is established' BS. A secure chat connection is already established because wireshark shows I'm connected via https. Just more "filler" text while I sit on hold. Why can't you just say "all agents are busy" instead of some stupid secure chat connection crap.
Your technical director(s) need to be reviewed for doing stupid things in hopes of deceiving customers into thinking you are helping, but have understaffed your call center.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
