We read all your feedback and in this release we have fixed the ToneTouch lack and we drastically improved the play queue performance causing hangs in some cases.

When we were forced to ditch the BeoPlay app, I figured they would at least bring over ALL of the sound customizability along with my personal presets in ToneTouch from the old app. I had several custom sound profiles that I created depending on the genre of music I was listening to. Now that they’re gone, I have to go into the app to manually adjust the Tone Touch sound whenever I want to switch genres when I used to have to just click between my custom sound profiles. My other big complaint is that they kept ToneTouch customizability with bright, relaxed, etc, but they took away the ability to adjust the sound stage which was huge for my personal sound preference. I understand consolidating everything under one app and don’t get me wrong, B&O always sounds good, it was just better when I could make it exactly how I like it

At this point in time our Beoplay app and our Bang & Olufsen app do not have the exact same feature set. However rest assured that we are always working on adding more to our Bang & Olufsen app. In regards to the adjustment of the sound stage, we have removed that feature from some of our products, on which it previously caused unbalanced left to right playback. This includes most of our headphones.

How can you skip the stereo?
This morning the "old" app came up with a message suggesting to start using this app, as the previous would stop working early 2019.
How can you suggest us to migrate to such an unfinished app? I have four Beoplay A1, which I have bought to be able to listen in stereo two different locations. Now only one can play at a time. Restricted to mono in 2019? This is a huge unacceptable step backwards.
I will uninstall now and revert to the previous app, and I sincerely hope you keep it working. If not, you have destroyed a part of my music system.
The comment about working together with another team about connectivity is a internal matter, which can only lead to us as consumers to think of sitting between two chairs. Instead you could have waited with new introductions until they have an acceptable quality.

I'm afraid that our new Bang & Olufsen app does not have the exact same feature set as our older Beoplay app. Our developers are however constantly working on adding more features, both old and new to our app.

Poor software; great hardware.
My experience with this app on iOS 10.3.3 is that it sporadically freezes, music occasionally stops playing via AirPlay and unfortunately, there is no way to set an alarm that uses iTunes Library as the wake-up sound. Frankly, I am a huge B&O fan but am extremely surprised at how poor this app is. Sonos is 10x easier to use. I expect to return my BeoSound 1, I am sorry to say.
UPDATE. I determined why music cut out via AirPlay--not B&O's fault. I'm disappointed the Alarm cannot be used with an iTunes Library song via Bluetooth or AirPlay and think the app is not nearly as intuitive as Apple apps or even Sonos' but I have my Beosound 1 functioning at this point and plan to keep it. I wish the app were simpler and better designed but the hardware is beautiful and I'm proud to own a piece of B&O.
