Cannot paste into password field
I use a password manager, to utilize long string random passwords. However with the latest update to the app on my iPhone (I have a 5c, yes it is dated) I can no longer paste the password into the field. If I leave the screen and then return to the BOA app, re-enter the field, the field automaticaly blanks and I cannot seem to remember more than 4 or 5 random upper and lower case letters/numbers/etc at a time.(which is why I use a password manager) I don't have the password remembered on the iPhone, as that is on layer less of security, if they are in the app, they are already through the lock screen. I can paste everywhere else, even into the user id field just above it. Just not into the password field. You've made the application unuseable in my situation, and I've checked with other non-fingerprint Iphone users, who are having the same issue. Up till this issue, it is the easiest banking app I've used, and feels quite secure. Way better than Suntrust, or Wachovia apps I've used. Help!
Poor User Experience
Update 8/17… BofA seems to have fixed the issue with opening accounts. I finally did it and it was very smooth. I definitely like opening an account inside the app. I don't like the fees associated with their accounts.
As of 8/12.… I went to download the "new" BofA app to open an account. First, the account opening option was hard to find and when I did find it, the option was not available. I tapped and tapped and it did not allow me to open a new account in the app nor did it take me out of the app. You would think BofA would have tested this process before throwing it on the App Store. There are plenty of testers and developers that should have caught this. I wonder if they are aware that I can open an account at other banks w/o the hassle by using a mobile app at other places. BofA has to get their ish in order. It's all about user experience and not a new app to push to the App Store.
ZERO STARS!!!! I am SO angry about this update because I can't use my app AT ALL. I work 45 hour weeks and am in nursing school and can't access my bank account unless I am on a computer?! Bank of America you really messed up. A forced update doesn't allow a long term customer without 8.0 to use your app. Fix your mistake or pay the consequence. I need a bank that understands that I can't come in during the day to hash this out. I can't use a computer when I am in the field. I can't use a computer for banking info at my school. The app was functional, now I have to handle my banking needs during lunch break doing it in snail mode on the web page which is not mobile friendly btw and all off wifi because it isn't protected. So my banking info is only available to me when I get home on a secure server. Thanks a lot.
