This app is in keeping with all thats best with the Mac. Simple but elegant offering everything you need to know about atmospheric pressure. I would hope it might in the future offer a trend bar to show the changes in pressure over a period of hours and days as the rate of change is very important to predict the approach of weather Fronts. Thanks

Does not update unless you quit then open it
Without any updating while the utility is open this
becomes a relatively handicapped utility.
There is a pointer that moves to the last pressure
recorded when the utility was opened and thst's it.
The current pressure is presented and the pointer goes to
the last recorded pressure.
The two pointers are hard to determine which is which if they are close together.
Nothing changes while the utility is open.
A novelty if free. Not worth 99¢.
Very accurate
So far every time it said snow or rain it was spot on unlike the local weather stations around here which always seem to contradict one another. I have a mechanical barometer sitting on our computer desk but it requires constant adjustments, isn’t accurate and was very expensive. So I really love this app. Plus every time I open the app it shows me what the pressure reading was the last time I launched the app so I can trend what the barometric pressure is doing and I haven’t experienced any problems or glitches. So I would definately recommend this app.

it seems the company doesn’t give a whit about the functionality of their products. I am looking at past reviews that are nine months old and I just bought the anemometer and the barometer and they both have the same problem.
Niether one works without stopping it then restarting it and then thats where they stay……NO REAL TIME INFO.
