The holy grail for bass gear nuts

If you love your gear, and love reading about gear then this is the magazine for you. It covers just about everything a gear nut could want. The articles are top notch, and the reviews are great. This is truly a world class product. However, If you suffer from G.A.S. (gear acquisition syndrome), you might want to skip this because it WILL cause a problem. You may need to enter a 12 step program to keep from going broke if you have managed to keep your G.A.S. in check. I can see it now... Hi my name is____, and I'm a gear nut. Its been _____ months since my last purchase.....

Thanks Tom and BG staff

I'm a longtime member on the Talkbass forums and have lusted after Tom's collection of gear for quite a while. When I heard that he was starting a Bass only magazine I was skeptical. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The reviews are full featured, the testing methods are objective and extensive, and the in-depth articles (even those on double bass which I don't play) are well worth the read. A first rate pub and an asset to the bass community.

Quality

Tom Bowlus and his team know gear and know how to write about it. Bass Gear In it's printed form is a first class publication with a little something for everyone, whether you're playing in your basement or at MSG. The digital version for the iPad take the great format and make it convenient, with fast load of pages and great clarity of pictures and type. A must have app for any bass player!
