Bass Guitar is the new instrument application designed for the iPhone and iTouch. The application is simple to use. Touch the bass fret board to play the desired notes. Each fret board position plays realistic sounds sampled from an electric bass guitar. New playback design can play high number of notes quickly with greatly reduced noise.
New requested features added:
* Added 8 frets to the fret board.
* 8th fret plays the open notes.
Give this application a good rating, in return new versions will be published with new cool features.
What's New in Version 1.2
* The fret board has been extended to 7 frets.
* An extra 8th fret has been added to play the open notes.
* Fixed the crash when the application is started for the first time.
* Reduced memory requirements.
"What flat & sour is"
Believe me... if I had known this product Bass Guitar was just meant to quickly grab my $0.99 I would have avoided it. I purchased the application Pocket Guitar and it well worth the money spent. The application Bass Guitar does absolutely nothing except you can hit the 4 bass strings, nothing else, what a waste of money for the consumer. Pocket Guitar is my guitar hero! It has all of the bells & whistles. I feel ripped off and iTunes should monitor applications that really do nothing at all. I could have written one much better than the Pocket Guitar application..... A very unsatisfied professional bass guitarist. :(
I'd give it a 3 =(
Guys quit bashing on the fact you can't hear it. When u put earphones in u can hear it perfectly!!! So for those of u who don't have earphones you're screwed. Though I am disappointed with the fact that the frets aren't actual bass notes. The 5th fret on the E string isn't an A. So make the frets in the app actual bass frets. Now. I want my $0.99 worth. I know what I'm talking about I have a half size epiphone SG '92 red bass and a fender acoustic bass.
Nice idea, poor sound
I don't play bass, but I like to play around with apps like this. Unfortunately, even with the volume at maximum, it's hardly audible, and the hiss and audio defects are as audible as the note you're supposed to be playing.
I wouldn't recommend this app as long as the audio is so awful. Really, I read all the other reviews and thought 'how bad can it be?' Well even though I only bought it to dabble, I wish I hadn't. If they fix the audio then maybe I won't wish for my $.99 back.
