What's New in Version 2.13.3
Bug fixes and usability improvements.
BEWARE! another case of corporate greed.
The game itself is fun. The graphics are great. Wide variety of lures and baits. Plenty of fishing spots and a lot of different species of fish to get your angler on. HOWEVER!! And beware! Bass Pro Shops shows their true colors with this application. Like many corporations in America these days, BPS is just another huge conglomerate ready and willing to steal from the American people. You spend your REAL money on a FAKE lure to catch digital fish and Bass Pro feels that you shouldn't be allowed to keep that FAKE item that you actually paid for. You buy lures and they take them back from you. Whether your line snaps or not, they will take your lure as it if was their money that paid for it. Not only that but they have the audacity to take your COINS right out of your wallet...the coins the you not only earned but for some of you, actually paid for with real money. YES you heard that correctly! They will literally and blatantly steal your money right out from under you. I used to shop at their stores all the time and loved taking my little toddler there to see the huge fish but knowing this is their mentality, unfortunately I will no longer be spending one more dime at any of their stores. Corporate greed is far too common these days and letting little like this go by without a hitch greatly encourages corruption and greed on so many levels.
Rant over! Hope you go bankrupt BassPro
Not a fishing hole. A money pit.
Graphics and game is great, but this app is irritation after another. I've spent more $$$ on this app than any other. Ever. Yet between normal fishing sessions they make you watch an ad/video. 30 seconds of hell after already dropping large amounts of coin to fish each "free" session. You have to keep buying and replenishing your lures, lines and sprays. On top of buying access to lakes to fish. They reward coins, but you spend more to play each time.
Then fishing in tournaments. It's fun, but most of the time you pay to enter and you get an error message saying you're not connected to the Internet; thus, not recording your weight total and eating your money. I've written support so often I know they dread hearing from me. But now I'm sick of even writing. I keep playing because that's how fun the game is.
But to fish out as much money as I have, only to keep getting error messages on top of being forced to watch videos after every "free" fishing season is Grade A, 100% pure prickery.
There are "lite" versions of apps out there that don't shove ads done your throat like this money one does. They don't respond to consumer feedback, so I am left with only this option to reveal the true nature of this app and its owners.
I absolutely love this game. Does it come without flaws? No! But over all this game has started to consume a lot of my time.
The graphics are great. I love the way it handles once you catch a fish. It's cool because you can actually break the line if you don't feel the big ones in correctly.
It also has many different options of places to fish and a large variety of fish to choose from.
Okay a few things I think could change. Regardless of where you toss your line most of the fish will be big ones.
I would like to see the tackle box categorized so you don't have to scroll through every lure to get to a particular type of fish. Or maybe they can give the user the option to arrange his/her tackle the way they want it. That would be great!!
Your gonna have to buy coins in order to catch big fish. My advice is to get a special and avoid the coins if at all possible. It's more economical that way.
That's about it. Again this game has few flaws. Happy fishing.
