Surprisingly Amazing

I had really low expectations for this game. Ever since Telltale struck gold with TWD (which is the best game of all time) they have been kinda been going crazy. The Wolf Among us was awesome but games like Game of Thrones, Minecraft , Tales from the Borderlands, etc. I've been losing hope they would go back to good storytelling. When I found out that they were doing a Batman game I felt as if it would be a subpar game and wouldn't be anything special. I was very wrong. They take there own spin on things Bruce and Batman and it is terrific. The characters are great and the storytelling is great. Pretty much everything about this game is great. They really stepped it up for this game and trust me it is worth the $5. This game does a great job of character development and relationship development. Decisions made will know doubt affect if a character will help you or not. All in all 10/10 it is one of my favorite games of 2016.

It's great... but...

I started playing this expecting the same regurgitated Batman origin, however I was pleasantly surprised. There are some amazing ideas for this story. It is worth noting that right when the game starts there is a real frame rate issue here. It's not really game breaking but it can get f*!$ing annoying fast! Now as I said the game starts off amazing but I feel it loses its momentum near the second to last episode. I also get annoyed by how much telltale claims their stories have "a changing story that is tailored to your decisions". This is my second telltale game I have finished (my first being The walking dead season 1) and I feel telltale is REALLY overselling their story choices. The choices very sparingly have any more impact than the bird or the cage choice from Bioshock infinite. This game sadly only has ONE ending. With all these "choices" you think there would be vastly different endings, I know I did. I mean you would think since everything is scripted they would put more effort into the story.

Great Story, though it is pretty buggy

I loved the Batman Telltale series. I thought that the story was really well done, with great plot twists and amazing development of main characters. However, I did run into many bugs. For one, the first fight scene hardly worked on my iPhone 7, which is the latest iphone out at the time. I also had trouble with sounds not being heard and entire lines of dialogue straight up not being said. I also had problems getting the episodes to open at times. I would try and start it, and it would just stay at a black screen, and I would continue doing the same things for a while with no results, forcing me to wait and hope it works the next time. Overall, I thought the game itself was amazing, with great gameplay and story elements, but the bugs make me not recommend the iOS version to my friends over the console or PC counterparts
