Best Game in the App Store

That guy, u wishu were

This game takes the things that made the first game great to the next level. And you do not need to be someone who played the first battleheart to love battleheart 2. A beginner can pick up gameplay quickly and slowly challenge you as you play through the game. Rewards feel earned. Characters and environments are more detailed and visually appealing. More character classes to choose from and the new system for buying and upgrading weapons and powers has been expanded upon significantly. The game is very good size (less than half a gig)for the amount of gameplay it offers. Deleting the first game from my phone after having it for years nearly gave me separation anxiety since it was so good and that was after 100+ hours of gameplay. Saving your profile to the cloud is an excellent advance. The only suggestion I have would be to add an in app purchase option for adding more bosses, and character costumes. It would be advantageous to offer an in app purchase option for more levels, characters, and bosses for those fans that can't get enough, and can't wait another few years for more!

This game exceeds expectations, but...

The way MikaMobile designed this game was absolutely brilliant and impressive in every single gameplay aspect. Skill points in this game will take a long time to acquire every single talent for all the characters to 100% the game (which is my goal) and obtaining every legendary. I don’t know if this is possible due to inventory space, but I’ll get as far as the game allows. Now, my only flaw to this game. It does not appeal to the casual player base at all. As a hardcore RTS fan, this is not a problem, but I beat the game in about 18 hours of playing with some difficulty. Granted, I picked a party that I felt wouldn’t be overpowered or very underpowered, so I found a median and picked a decent squad. Yet the game doesn’t have a story mode. It’s a sequel to the original in a lot of great ways, but doesn’t build off of the beauty of Battleheart Legacy’s dialogue and story. It doesn’t make the game any better to have a good story (sometimes) so I can forgive it, just would be hard for any non-strategy player to enjoy this masterpiece.

An Nostalgic Masterpiece

I played the first battleheart when I was a bit younger and I still did up until now. The game nails presentation and is the first sequel that I have seen that both builds on and is an almost identical reincarnation of the last game. The sound effects, the character designs, the abilities, heck even the menu for your save datas look and feel exactly like the last game. The enemies and the music are also identical which is not only charming but also not something you see in a lot of sequels and it really reminded me that I was playing the sequel to battleheart. The gameplay remains fantastic and is somehow better than the first game’s. The art style looks amazing and I think it really recaptures the whole feel of the game, and when I finished the first level and heard the remix of the level finishing sound... I actually had a chill in my spine. This is a great game, but not only that, it is a great sequel.
