The new BBVA Compass Mobile Banking 2.2.0 app for iPad is fully bilingual (English/Spanish) and provides you a fast, easy and attractive way to manage your BBVA Compass accounts, allowing you to issue and view Bill Payments, Add Payees and manage Pay Accounts; display your balances and charts, view posted and pending transactions, transfer funds between accounts, see images of your paid checks, transaction receipts and find local branches. A new link on the main menu provides you periodic updates to our award-winning Economic Research articles.
Existing Mobile Banking or Online Banking users just need to download the app, sign-in with their existing username and password, and start using the app!
It couldn’t be easier or more convenient.
Existing bank customers without a username or password can enroll directly for Mobile Banking from the app by using their valid BBVA Compass Debit card and PIN number.

What's New in Version 2.2.0
iOS 7 Compatibility. Fixed minor bugs.
Usefulness limited by unneeded items.
Overall this is a useful mobile banking app for the iPad. I have one HUGE complaint though. The gigantic graph that dominates the accounts view is totally useless to me. What is useful to me is the ability to see a list of my transactions. With the graph there I can only see a couple at a time. Get rid of the stupid graph and let me see mor of my transactions. If that graph is useful to some, all them the OPTION to see it. I don't use the APP much because of this.
*** Trouble signing on ***
I have been successfully using the BBVA app on my iPad and iPhone for years. The latest update is helpful in some ways BUT signing on has become an issue. Nothing changed in how I log on but even if I put the info in correctly, there is an error message that it's incorrect. I have to log in through my desktop then miracles happen and I can log in through the app. Please I hope there is a fix for this soon.
Do not use this app for mobile deposits
This app is so untrusted by the "bank" itself that any mobile deposits are subject to a minimum three day hold. That is the minimum, it can be and will be longer based on: the check amount, the institution it is drawn upon, your credit history... It is an unrecoverable disaster.. And let's talk about bill pay... Don't do it on the app. Up to ten minutes later the transaction still don't appear in the actual bank interface and sometimes they never do!
