The completely new Version 5.0 of BBVA Compass Mobile Banking has a fresh new look, intuitive interface, and sports some of the most powerful banking features in a mobile app. With a ground-up development, we revisited nearly every idea to make this your favorite mobile banking app.

You can conveniently access all of the different services from a single main menu, or for even faster navigation, you can use the smart “I want to…” menu, wherever you are in the app, to quickly execute the most frequent transactions.

Also new is the “Payments and Transfers” section, which takes the complexity out of all money-movement transactions. You don’t need to worry about bank jargon. Want to pay your credit card, send money to your family, or transfer money to or from another bank? Just select from which account, and to which account, the amount and when you want it done. I couldn’t be simpler than this!

One of the most feature-rich Mobile Banking apps anywhere, this fully bilingual app (English/Spanish) provides you a fast, easy and attractive way to manage your BBVA Compass accounts, allowing you to deposit checks with Mobile Deposit® for Consumer and Small Business accounts with automatic picture snapping*; send Transfers From and To Other Banks, Wire Transfers and International Transfers; set over 20+ Alerts (via SMS**, eMail and push notifications) for your accounts; pay your Credit Card, Line of Credit, Loan or Mortgage; send money to your family and friends via email or text message with Popmoney; Manage and send Bill Payments, add payees by entering the company name; display your accounts balances, view posted and pending transactions, transfer funds between accounts, see images of your cleared checks and transaction receipts, and find local branches. Video demos in the Assistance Center section, or within the “I Want To…” menu of each section makes learning some features easier than ever, and the Rewards section rewards you for using your BBVA Compass debit and credit card.

Existing Mobile Banking or Online Banking users just need to download the app, sign-in with their existing username and password, and start using the app!

Existing bank customers without a username or password can enroll for Mobile Banking directly from the app by using their valid BBVA Compass product.

BBVA’s mobile app is wonderful & I truly do love it. The only reason I can’t give it the full 5 star rating is because it does, on occasion, hit spells where it just shuts down or won’t load your information. For me, this may last anywhere from a few minutes to a day. IT DOESN'T HAPPEN OFTEN THOUGH 🙂 That’s important to me. The app is user friendly, has many great & actually FUN to use features, allows you to make pmts & transfer funds in real time, set up acct alerts & notifications that can be sent to your email and/or your text msgs...I could go on & on. It’s just an all around, great banking/financial mobile app with great bonus features. I ♥️ it!

I’m sorry to give anybody a beat down but this bank is TERRIBLE!


Where do I even start? When they were still Compass, they were good. There is no end to how they can make like hard now. My mom had her 5 figure account here for 15 years, BBVA Compass updated their software and prohibited her from having an account listed as a trust (after many months) unless she had a lawyer (at an expensive rate) rename the account. She went to another bigger bank... NO PROBLEM!
I made a deposit in the ATM after hours and it took the deposit but only said “thank you...”, no confirmation of the amount, date, etc. When I called, the woman said, “Oh, that was a malfunction!” No explanation or reversal of fees due to the malfunction.
I have waited in the drivethru lane for 25 MINUTES only to go inside to see that the teller was flirting with a customer inside.
Bank here if you love pain.



I have had no problems for years depositing checks by mobile phone. This week I tried to do it and I was blocked for some reason - the person on the phone said the network was down, the clerk at the bank said that was not the reason - there was not a network problem. They usually do that if there is an overdraft on an account but there was not an overdraft on my account! No one seems to know what the other department is doing half the time! Hard getting help on the phone- wait for 25 minutes. Go to the bank, they try to be helpful but they can’t always fix mobile phone app issues. I depend on my app A LOT!!
