Just like everyone else - I registered but it won’t allow me access through a mobile device. It says for account isn’t set up to access from a mobile device. It tells me to call technical support. I’ve called three times now and have gotten all sorts of non-answers that haven’t solved the problem. The last person finally told me that I will never be able to log on with a mobile app but only on an actual computer BECAUSE I am on Medicare. And that’s ridiculous! I know many seniors (at least half) who don’t have Internet and never had a reason to buy a computer. But most of them DO have smartphones! I have a laptop but it’s older and slow. And I never turn it on because I have an iPhone. And I’m certainly not running out to buy s new computer just to log in to BCBSGA! So, I guess I’ll just be calling BCBSGA every single time I have a question instead of looking up the information online like I do for literally every other company I have dealings with including the SSA!
The updated app is TRASH. It isn’t user friendly in my opinion and I say that because I can’t access any pertinent information. When I visit a new specialist and I can’t access the electronic cards (like I used to be able to) the app is no good. When I can’t see anything other than error messages and useless info-WHY?! I don’t need to see my own contact info. I need to see my dang cards!
The age we are in- a good portion of us don’t carry cards for any reason. Therefore I don’t carry a debit card and most certainly don’t carry insurance cards. It’s all in my phone to better protect my interest. Before, I was able to show my card through the app. Now I don’t even have that option. I have to improvise and just have pictures of the cards in a separate album on my phone.
I wouldn’t be mad if there wasn’t already better method that was taken away.
Change it back. It wasn’t broken.
The app was fine the way it was before.

App and Mobile browser does not work
I used to be able to use the app but of late, each time I try to log in via the iPhone app or via the mobile browser, it just displays a message saying “we’re here to help...please call the helpline”. And reading other reviews, it seems many other folks are having the same issue. I’m not even wasting my time to call the helpline. Logging in via a laptop or desktop works. So it’s not the user password issue. It’s a technical glitch that BCBS needs to fix on their end. Disappointed with the app.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
