Our MyBlue App is a simple and secure way for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts members to manage their health care.

Ever been surprised by your bill at the doctor or pharmacy? Our app is the most convenient way to stay informed about your plan when you need it. It connects you securely to your health plan information when you need it. You can quickly access claims, financial accounts balances, and plan information.

To use the app, members must register using their member ID that is located on their member ID card.

Key features of the app include:

• A digital ID card, that can be emailed, printed and saved to your phone
• Access claims activity and details
• Doctor information and visit history
• Medication information and refill dates
• Find doctors, dentists, and hospitals
• Connect with member service or our nurse care line
• View information for dependents under 18
• Phone numbers and driving directions to hospitals, pharmacies and doctor offices
• Financial account balances, such as a Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Reimbursement (HRA), or Health Spending Account (HSA)

We have streamlined our registration process for quicker access to your health plan and personal information. Enhancements include improved navigation and user interface, Touch ID, additional filtering and search capabilities for custom views, the ability to save your doctors and pharmacies to your phone contacts list, download your digital member ID card to your phone, access to health articles and content, bug fixes. All existing users of the MyBlue Member App will need to re-register to access this update.

Freezes up constantly

Once you register, you should have to find the button to log in. The app should open asking for the fingerprint immediately. Also, if my husband is the primary for our family, why can’t he view my information too? Only our children's information pops up on the list of members. I know it isn’t a privacy issue because he has total access on Express Scripts. This is annoying. Fix the convenient crash that happens every time I try to open the one claim that was “denied.” C’mon! Nobody likes insurance companies. You would think that you all would work as hard as you can to make this user friendly and lessen your members’ frustration and blood pressure!

Non-responsive app support

I can’t even register a new account to use this app. I am unable to mark that l’ve read and accepted the term and privacy statements so the app won’t complete my registration. I have: 1. emailed the support email that was listed in this App Store description, then 2. phoned Blue Cross Blue Shield Massachusetts customer support who in turn forwarded to their IT support the problem along with the screenshot I sent them. Months after #1 and weeks after #2, I have gotten no reply. Computers and apps will always have hiccups and would not have earned this app one star; zero effort from a healthcare provider’s IT support is what makes me say “forget this app.”


Can’t login

Just like everyone else- can’t login because of different password requirements for the website and app. When I try to login on the app, it says “invalid password” since my password doesn’t have a special character.

But then the website doesn’t allow special characters in the password so you’re essentially stuck. If I try to “Re-register” as the app suggests, I simply get an error message telling me that “there is already an account for my email”. Good job to whoever developed this lol.

I am trying to get my card info since BCBS has dropped the ball on mailing it to me. Too bad.
