Post your impromptu event in Beacon and your friends will be notified immediately. When your friends join the event, we’ll let you know! Everyone can comment in the thread for an event, and you can tell people where to go and what to expect.

- Direct people to your exact location, or to any location nearby
- See all the events you’re attending or organizing in a beautiful, concise view

A concept, not an app (yet)

Love the concept; it immediately made me tap that Get button. Execution is pretty bad, rushed, making for a disappointing user experience compared to the promise of the concept. You'll see a blast of tons of public posts, and if there happens to be a post from a tweep, they likely live 800 miles away. No filters. Settings only cover notifications. It's a very cool concept, but this should have been kept in development for more features that match the brand promise before being released.

This app offers nice idea; but it requires a lot work than what has now. City classification is one example might improve this app by locating the people within the same area rather than display every person in different places. Secondly, invitation acceptance is another thing would help to enhance the performance so the host or the one who invite has the ability to accept or reject that person.
Not ready yet

This app is not ready yet. There is no way to just see your friends...I am seeing events from people I don't know and from people in California when I'm in WI. There is no way to geolocate...same gripe as previous. This app should not have been released with such limited functionality...I don't want to parse through events of people I don't know. Let me see just what I want to...not what I don't want to.
