PTW and Poor Customer Service

Pretty fun game and I absolutely love the art style. Names and characters are fun and goofy and is a good time.

With that said, it is most certainly paid to win. Purchasing of gems allows you to purchase packages that drop glyphs, food for experience, different types of currency and even high level beasts. Yes you do farm and grind for some things, but with purchases there is hardly any work involved.

To add to this, some options aren’t fully explained. I learned the hard way about the easy-to-miss option to lock your creatures to prevent feeding them away, and fed away my top two beasts (also my favorites.) Customer service refused to help in any fashion, though it may be due to a language barrier. The replies back were in broken English and a bit contradicting. One message replied with how “There is a way...” to help me, and then apologized after. After asking for further clarification I received no reply. I also asked for a refund on my most recent purchase after the resources gained were wasted and received the same reply back.

Worst thing is, I’d have continued to play if it weren’t for this. Had a good tribe with nice people and was a good time.

TLDR: Fun for a time, but outpaced quickly by folks paying with money and supported poorly, if at all. Best of luck everyone.

Mostly wonderful

After ~40 hours or so
Pay to win, sure no doubt, however not so unrealistically. You can enjoy the game at a slower pace (not a drag) and grind away everything necessary to enjoy the game. For this reason I’d gladly smack a 5star on here if it wasn’t for one thing.

I can completely understand the developers lack in ability to take care of so many willing paying customers. I’ve heard multiple stories of people having to start over because of losing a device or erasing characters and it’s a shame, but one can only “hope” someone fixes a personal mistake like that. My problem... is with this pay to talk crock of poo.

5gems to send a single message is annoying as it gets. I could come up with 5 scenarios on the top of my head where this lead me to blowing a gasket.
I understand it’s a lucrative idea placing a micro-purchase on the only talk feature outside of tribe talk, but I don’t oftentimes see a price on bathroom doors without thinking “Ohh it’s that kind of operation”

...don’t let it be that kind of operation devs

The game itself does need work, but give the developers some slack! It’s a fairly new game with lots of content in line for players now and upcoming players in the future. They are looking to expand servers in which in turn will reduce lag time.

The monsters may be limited but there are much more to come out. I simply cannot wait for what else this game had to offer. It is a game that rewards players progressively overtime with IAP currency. Other games mag do this, but the rate granted for just completing quests suggests that you will eventually build up. ALSO, you don’t need to buy to be OP.

I still havent purchased anything, and I am at the top of the server simply by just being consistent.

This game is indeed favored towards those starting out, but in later patches they are going to have to expand on their character base and all characters after this new wave will simply be outdated.
