Beers “On Tap” can be easily transferred to your favorites or tasted list and reviewed.
Beer Buddy will also allow you to make a list of your favorite beers. Your favorites list will give you the ability to rank and rate your beers. With addition of new ales, porters, stouts, ciders, and more your favorites list can seamlessly be edited. Integration with social media such as Facebook and Twitter.
"This is by far the most comprehensive beer app out there, and will be your buddy to finding, drinking and rating beer. The app is directly integrated with ratebeer.com so you can read reviews of any beer and locations (retailers, bars, and breweries), as well as provide your own ratings...You can start by either searching for the name of the beer or scanning the barcode. Once you find your beer, you can bookmark it for later via the “On Tap” function."

Perfect App for Beer Shopping
I live in an area with a lot of small craft breweries in addition to a couple of shops that stock a nice selection of international beers. As a beer lover I want to try as many different brews as possible but with prices ranging from $6-20 per bottle I can't buy every beer I see. This app is the perfect solution - I can scan barcodes and read reviews which help me determine if a particular brew would appeal to my palate. The tasted and notes options let me review the beers I've tried so I can check what I did/didn't like. I also love the "on tap" list so I can keep a running list of the beers I want to try. And finally I'm thankful for the store near me option so I can check out which shops near my current location have a good selection before I make the drive there.
Improvements - right now the ratings for a variety of beers aren't showing up on my taste list although when you click on the beer the information appears so it is in the database. I agree with other reviewers that recommendations based on your own reviews would be an excellent addition to the app also I'd like to see some sort of indicator on the beer listings when you've made notes about the particular brew.
Finally, I'd love to see a pairing recommendation for beer with food so I can find the perfect brew to compliment a meal I'm making.
I'd definitely recommend this app to other beer lovers.
The app I have been looking for
Didn't know this app existed until last night but it is the quintessential beer lovers app. I can finally take notes of what beers I've tried and what I want to try next and rate beers. Beer is great. This app pairs well with beer. Now you can say "oh that beer is terrible I gave it a 1.2 don't buy it" and stuff. It's awesome. I will say, I also got this whiskey app and it's all about whiskey and it recommends stuff for you. It also looks beautiful. It's the most beautiful app I've ever seen. To the developers of beerbuddy, make the app look better. I'd also add something where it learns what you like and what you don't like and gives you recommendations based off of that. Like Netflix. But with beer. Still 5 stars, keep it up!
Great for cataloguing your beer inventory and keeping track of what you've tasted. The barcode scanner is great and provides you with a pretty comprehensive database of beer throughout the world. My one gripe is the lack of consistency regarding the associated beer pictures. The other day, I scanned a beer and a picture of a Whole Foods growler popped up. Other times, it looks like someone took a picture of a bottle sitting in a recycling bin. Seems to me that with the use of the World Wide Web, this should a pretty easy fix. If a picture isn't available, why not use the brewery's insignia?...just a thought to clean the app up a bit. Otherwise, it is a very useful tool that any tech-minded beer enthusiast will love.
