This App Rocks!
I just downloaded the new version of this app and it is 100% better than the first one! I live in Texas and not only is the beerfinder working great all over the state it gives me the closest locations to me! The barcode scanner is an awesome new feature, you have to hold the camera pretty steady but it has read almost every barcode I have put infront of it! All in all this is a great app if you are looking for craft and import beer in Texas!
From an iPad 2 user...
This is a promising app. While some features don't work for me, e.g. the barcode reader and group events, I've got enough functionality to keep a list of my favorites (as well as brews I'd like to try), discover new breweries, and learn about new styles.
Looking forward to the next update. Hopefully it will stop crashing when the app starts in landscape mode--!
I can finally find the local stores with the beers I read about in magazines. or i can find interesting beers by browsing beer style. (Eg which milk stouts can I buy in my local area?). Requests: filter style example results by availability, link or include or sort by beer advocate's ratings.
