Description
The BeOn App turns your Apple iPhone or iPAD into a group oriented Push to Talk communications solution. If you are an organization looking for an alternative to building out or replacing a dedicated land mobile radio (LMR) system or are an enterprise looking to greatly expand the functionality and coverage of an existing LMR system, BeOn is your ideal solution. BeOn leverages what’s already there; your Wi-Fi connection and any combination of cellular carrier data network connections to allow you to communicate with groups or individual team members throughout the world. BeOn includes advanced dispatch, presence, and location tracking features to increase your organization’s efficiency.
BeOn may be configured as a standalone enterprise owned system, replacing traditional LMR systems or can be configured to work in conjunction with a multitude of LMR systems to significantly expand the coverage area and functionality of the system.
If you are an enterprise such as a manufacturing campus, non critical government organization, railway, utility, hospital, or other organization that requires a cost effective professional grade communications system, you need to consider BeOn.
Continued use of GPS by BeOn running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Ok app but needs updates
Updates/App configuration for Apple produce seems to be lacking. Can’t save password for automatic log in, what is supposed to be default channel won’t stay as the default, not all audio logs for playback. Other members with Androids do not have any of these issues, but all of our Apple users do.
This could be a really great app if they can get these bugs worked out.

Biggest flaw
The app works great for what it is, but here's the biggest flaw/glitch: The audio option keeps switching randomly. Using an iPhone 6S, I set the audio to "Speaker" but after a few minutes or transmissions, it randomly switches to "Phone". App would be better with "Speaker" only option. Dangerous stitching back and forth while running lights and siren to a hot call.
Great...when it works
Very quirky app, logs off without warning or even worse, seems to be in active mode but will not connect. Would not recommend for mission critical applications.
