They'll love it!
i love it
I have this app for a while now and it never crashed on my iPhone...And the stories...they're just great, and trust me...definitely not for kids !! i'm 27 and i love' em !
This app is always crashing for me! I've re-installed it 3 times! Great stories though!
Made For Kids
This app was clearly made for and written by kids. There are numerous spelling and grammatical errors, not to mention a ton of redundancy in a lot of the stories. One such example is in one of the stories, a figure's eyes are described as "malevolent malice." Both words have similar meanings, so only one of the words are necessary. Whoever wrote this must also be a huge "Twilight" fan as I counted the use of the word "chagrin" no less than 5 times in a 4 paragraph story. Also, to whoever wrote these stories: the use of big words or words not commonly used on a daily basis doesn't make you look smart if they're not used correctly or in the right context (those who read these stories and aren't complete idiots will understand what I mean by that).
A word of advice: if you're going to charge money or an app with stories in it, even if it's just $0.99, proof read, edit, and have someone who, at the very least, passed a junior high English class check your final product before publishing it to the app store. It would also be nice if there was a disclaimer in the app description stating this app is geared mainly towards teenagers and/or people who don't mind reading stories with a ton of spelling and grammatical errors, as I am neither of those things and feel I've wasted $0.99 that I could've used on a story app that was properly written and who's target audience is adults.
And one final thing, update the app and the app's icon for retina display. I have an iPhone 4 and there's nothing I hate more than spending money on an app that's not optimized for retina display. Having an ugly, blurry square on my screen is not something I like to see.
