This is a different kind of notes app. Simpler. Smarter. Better.
You can type #hashtags into your notes to organize them.
#hashtags link all the tagged notes together—tap on any to see them all.
We'll find any phone numbers, email addresses, or links in your notes, too, and you can tap on those to call, email, or go to the web.
A dash and then a space makes a list—you can tap the dash later to cross things off.
Attach #photos of things you’d like to remember—receipts, screenshots of directions, shoes in a shoe store. Whatever makes sense for you. Tap little photos to make ‘em bigger. Swipe down on big photos to make ‘em smaller.

This app is life!
I am busy running my medical billing business from home while taking care of my toddler and normal wife/ mom tasks. Efficiency and organization are key. This app allows me to quickly jot down to a do list for both personal and professional tasks. I can keep separate lists and easily check on things when they are done. I love that I can go back and still see what I have accomplished even when I marked as complete. That is an especially handy feature for office meetings! Another thing that I love is the hashtags feature! I will never be without this app!! It's all love here!! ❤️
Would Have Given 5 Stars But...
Hands down, BetterNotes is an utterly amazing app. I have downloaded pretty much every reminder/note taking app out there and this one has them all beat. You can take as many notes as you want and you can remind yourself about the note. Once the reminder goes off, you can choose to Snooze it or be reminded for another day. My only peeve about this app is that if I delete a reminder before I am actually reminded about it (due to it already being completed, no longer needing to be reminded, etc.), it will still remind me of this note! When I go into the app, the note is nowhere to be found. PLEASE FIX!!
Perfect for bullet journal indexing
This is exactly the app I've been hoping for! I thought I was going to have to create my own app to get this. So thank you!
I use it to annotate and index my paper journal (bullet journal). I can take a pic of the journal page and then index it with hashtags. I hope that you make it able to group by multiple hashtags soon and sort by some field like date (not date created but a date or title that is typed in the note). This would make it the ultimate tool for indexing paper journals. Right now it's only awesome. Thanks again.
