A book about life after death, the nature of reality, God, science, life on other worlds... Quietly, with little fanfare, this unusual book came about in Chicago, Illinois more than half a century ago, with no person credited as the author, and a premise instead that it is a message to give answers to the questions about existence that people have tried to understand for so long.
Reviews from www.amazon.com —
"Both otherworldly and down to earth, both simple and sophisticated, both soothing and shaking... I can describe it using a thousand words and still not begin to describe it. There is nothing like it in print, that's for sure."
"A monumental piece of work that clearly was meticulously crafted."
"I most appreciate the wisdom in this book, both in quantity and quality, I have not read anything that even comes close."
"If you have been searching for inspiration, this book is alive."
"Best book on the planet — and has satisfied my every question."
(After 16 years and more than 300 written Amazon reviews, 4.5 out of 5 stars.)
How did this strange but relentlessly detailed and expansive book come to be written? Is it wisdom literature or sci-fi? In methodical prose, it lays out an epic story that has intrigued many people who have come across it.
The application includes:

- Reference numbers in the text optionally can be switched on

"Few mortals ever dare to draw anything like the sum of personality credits established by the combined ministries of nature and grace. The majority of impoverished souls are truly rich, but they refuse to believe it."
What's New in Version 1.2.4
This release adds a few simple but useful features and fixes a few minor bugs.
The most helpful new feature is that when reading quotes, you can now double tap on the screen for a new quote. The "New" button still works, but double-tapping the screen is a lot easier and works equally well while holding a device with either hand.
For those with iOS 7, when you are reading a passage of the book, you can double tap the title of the navigation bar (where it says "Paper 100", or whichever paper you are reading at the time), and it will let you add a bookmark. This saves you the trouble of switching over to the History and Bookmarks section in order to add a bookmark. Another convenience feature is that if you single tap on the same title, it will scroll to the top of the passage. These features were available for the iPhone on the last version of the app but now work on the iPad too. Tapping the navigation title once to scroll back to the top also now works on the list of papers for each part of the book.
To enhance the experience of reading, the default font has been improved for Retina screens. The navigation bars have been made opaque to remove an effect that can be perceived as a slight flickering as text scrolls up and under the navigation bar. Several other small cosmetic improvements have been made.
This may be the last version of the app compatible with iOS 5. Most of you are way beyond that, but the intent has been to ensure it's as dependable and stable a final release as I can make it for those on older devices like the first generation iPad.
Amazing to say, but this app has now been available for over 5 years. I've enjoyed all the comments and emails over the years (email@example.com). If you've found this app to be of value, be sure to let others know by giving a review of it in the App Store. On one common topic - I've heard the many requests for a search feature to be added and I'm looking into adding that.
