What's New in Version 3.2
This update is made by you, because all the things we've done on this version are from your feedback. Keep it coming!
Included in this version:
•Updated News experience
•Ability to add cities for weather
•Performance and stability improvements
Fix the problems. Put the feedback option back on the homepage, I hate having to search for it. Keep it simple. When selecting something on trends, many times Bing don't work like it used to. Example, I just tried to take the weekly quiz "test your smarts" and what comes up is a bunch of website options to test your smarts, not the quiz. This issue is getting very old. Fix it or put it back to what used to work very well. Also, remember the year that the Halloween background was a house with lightning through the window and different movie parts were part of it as well? Do more of the animations. You have great photos, but they begin to be monotonous. Miss that
Update problems in images, Popular Now
After the last UI update, tapping on "images" shows a screenful of only the images related to the Images image on the home screen. The prior version let you access all images for that day in a column at left. Now, you have to impatiently wait for mech image in its carousel to display to decide if you want to see more of that one. Not very friendly; pretty irritating.
Tapping on Popular Now shows a screenful of square images, which is not as attractive as the former Trending display. You get more image links, but in a more boring display.
A more serious failure is the article results when tapping an article's image link. In too many cases the appropriate article does not even appear on the first screenful of article links. And for too many cases, most of the first screen's article links do not relate to the intended article. That's pretty poor.
The latest UI change also add thin black lines between articles on the News page. It looks like shareware. Microsoft needs to pay more attention to looks as part of UX.
Before an update, even when signed in, this app would not accumulate points for me. With the most recent update, my points have returned but now they are counting towards my pc searches and not the mobile searches. 🤔 Furthermore, while I love the Bing app, when will it be updated with the same UI like the iPhone app? This is a very nice version, but going back and forth between the iPad and iPhone app is like night and day.
