Thanks for using Birding SEAZ! This version fixes certain text views that should not have been editable. Bird sighting dates have permanence going forward; however, for this time only, please import your saved sightings after installing this version to fix any missing dates you may have. Sorting preference for Birding Region sites is remembered. This version also updates AZ species occurrence and taxonomy.
Ratings and Reviews
I purchased this app because I want to support TAS, which is a wonderful organization, even though as apps go, it is not inexpensive. The guide doesn't claim to be a substitute for 'Finding Birds in Southeast Arizona' nor at this point should it, as listings are incomplete (no Box Canyon or Las Laguna de Anza in the Nogales region, for instance, at least as far as I could tell - next time i will bring my book. This app has the potential to be very good though. At least I think so. In addition to fleshing out locations, perhaps it could be made to link to 'Rare Bird Alerts' and other useful information. On the plus side, it is easy to use and very intuitive. I will certainly look forward to improvements.
Great app for birding SEAZ
This app is so easy to use. You can even search ‘nearby locations.’ Each locale you select opens to a page with a description of the site, possible sightings, etc., and even nearby restaurants. You can opt for directions in Google or Apple maps. The glitch I encountered was that once the map app opened, I still had to type in the spot.
I love this app!
Great for planning a trip
I only travel to Tucson on occasion so this is a great app to help me plan where to go birding. The search by location as well as species really helps me plan my priority spots.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
