What’s New

Version 9.2.4

We have of course been tinkering in the background to make sure our app is functioning in tip top form, but this update is all about bringing back a highly requested feature. Yes, swiping articles is back! You can now open an article, swipe left and read the next article, or swipe again and again, there is no end to the swiping fun one can have, oh… and we even track your position in the home feed, so when you are done reading, we’ll put you right back in the feed at the last article you looked at, Nice! Stay tuned, as we have much more in the pipeline.

Lame news articles

I’m a Brummie living in the US and am embarrassed that my hometown newspaper reports such lame, and often trashy, news. I put it down to the fact the parent company is the Mirror.

App has been down graded

I now have to go to football where i have to read all kinds of garbage before I get to what’s happening at Birmingham City Football Club when I used to be able to go straight to Birmingham City. Why don’t you just change the papers name to the Aston Villa Mail and I will cease to use it.

Developer Response ,

Hi and thank you for your feedback. If you you want to follow news about your Favourite club or any other topic, simply find an article that has your clubs name as the 'Tag' placed above the headline, tap it, and on the next view, tap the follow icon top right of the app - you may be asked to sign in as this is personal to you. Once you follow your club, you can find all their news from the 'Discover' tab and have quick access link added to your navigation on the My New tab. The Reach PLC Apps Team

Fiddly all of a sudden....

With the new layout the navigation is hard to use. I have pretty average sized fingers and it is now a pain to go between areas.
