This game is amazong. It is a music based pong game. It make having an epileptic seisure worth it from all of the colors. I only have two problems which are so minor they in no way affect th game for me. One is that there are so many colors and dots that it can be difficult to what you need to hit and where it is. Second is the menu screen when you turn on the game. You select an option and a dot comes at you so you HAVE to hit it. If you miss you have to click the button again and wait. The final thing that i love about this game is the price. I use steam which is an online game store created by valve and it is free to download the software but not the games obviously (for both pc and mac). On steam the price in $10, but on the mac app store it is only $5.
Love the old school feel.
This game rocks. Tons of fun to play. As I type this I cant wait to get back and play some more. I'm running it on an 11 inch air and it's a great screen size... Unlike a reviewer said below the game does have options to play in windowed mode (not full screen). It also has the option to play with a keyboard, but it it not as fun. You can play with both a keyboard and mouse at the same time....
Two things I would love to see 1- the option to play with the trackpad, but move left to right. I just am better moving left to right with a track pad.
2-. The game changes your trackpad speed settings, system wide. Even when the game has been quit. Terrible. This is why I only gave it 4 stars. If this game was not so fun I would reduce the star count even further.
Better than the iPad version
I first bought this on the iPad where I found the control system either too fidly, or fingers obscuring the view.
This is the same great game on the Mac, with a contol system I can work with - love it.
Only down side so far is that the achievements system is tied into other online features that all require a Steam account - something I don't have or want. This is probably not an issue for most though, and should not detract from a fantastic retro game.
The beats and rythms of the music play very well with the patterns of the beats you must return - this is a very well put together piece of retro entertainment.
