Reviewing bit by bit
It's a good app I like it but like any app it has some problems first and for most when you try to get to the color pallet it's difficult and takes you a few trys and during those try's you end up accidentally making a big line through your drawing and one other unfortunate thing is sometimes when you try to place a square you accidentally place in the wrong place and in trying to delete the square miss and place more which is annoying but these things aside it is a fun app that allows you to create fun and pixelated pictures and im glad this app exists for there don't seem to be many others that allow you to do draw with pixels which is an interesting, alternative and creative way to draw which I enjoy so to the creators if you could fix those problems I would appreciate it and to those deciding wether to get the app or not I would highly recommend getting it.
Had this app for months but...
This is my all-time favorite pixel app. It's kind of hard to get used to the two-finger mechanic so it doesn't corrupt your work, but that's not too bad if given a short amount of time. Up until I went into it again today, it was functioning perfectly with your typical advertisements right before you start drawing, but then I tried going into my gallery to see if something had saved and an advertisement popped in the way, just like usual. Only this time, I couldn't close it because there was a toolbar at the top of the screen, covering the "X," that said "close." Upon doing so, I was sent back to the home screen of the app! I tried putting my iPad into landscape mode, but the toolbar was still covering up the close button... Please fix this! I've had this app the longest and I don't want to get rid of it for something that someone won't fix! 😩😩😩😫😫😫
Has great potential but poor design
I really tried to like this app, I really did. I made around ten different pictures with it and did my best to learn the controls for it, but ultimately gave up and uninstalled it simply because the slightest mistake made would ruin an entire drawing after hours of dedication. The erase tool and pretty much every additive tool were so hypersensitive that even a tiny slip of your finger would screw up whatever you were working on. "Painting" was pretty much hopeless, as I couldn't get the brush strokes to go where I wanted them to go, and the erase/undo functions were really difficult to use, strangely.
I really like the idea of a no-frills pixel art app like this, but the controls for this app make absolutely no sense, and it lacks certain functions that should be mandatory in pixel art programs, such as a decent zoom tool and the ability to easily color in individual pixels with a 1x1 pencil tool on a grid layout.
This app is just too clunky and difficult to use, sadly. What a shame.
