Ratings and Reviews
So I really love games that are life simulation like The Sims and this game which is very similar to instlife. This game is clearly in the beginning and there’s much more to go and I’m very excited for new updates because I always look forward to new features. Some things that I think the game should improve on/add and 1. When you get a divorce you always have to give them a lot of money but if you’re divorcing them for cheating on you then if that was taken to court you wouldn’t need to give them money. 2. More things to spend money on, like decorating your house, buying phones, Tv’s and other electronics. More things to buy. 3. There should be more involvement in your kids life like updates on when your kid is failing in school or when they’re smoking or drinking. You should be able to lecture them. Maybe have the option to beat them too and lose karma points. 4. When your partners are more crazy they should be more likely to abuse you, steal your money or do other bad things other than just calling you some weird names. 5. You should be able to keep in contact with Ex’s. 6. You should be able to make friends and go out with them to places. 8. You should have to get lectured by your parents when you do things wrong occasionally.
Keep up the updates and the good work!
Fun, but leaves something to be desired
As a lifelong superfan of EA’s Sims franchise, finding an easy-to-play, mobile text-based life simulator was a treat and a half for me. I’ve spent quite a bit of time on BitLife and I really do love the quirky humor and the fact that the game is set in the real world. I also appreciate how many countries are in the game and how many occupations there are. The variety is strong in this game.
However, there’s a lot of room for improvement. As I’ve seen other users state, the game feels kind of shallow, for lack of a better word. The differences from life-to-life are mostly superficial. Story elements and events repeat over and over, and every life, no matter how seemingly different, feels pretty similar in the end. I especially found that, while the game includes several different countries, the course of your life always feels very American. Tweaking the narrative and the affects of your actions depending on what country you live in would add a much-needed layer of detail to the game. My last concern (which is really more of a suggestion), is that while you frequently get updates on political events, there’s no political career path. You should have the opportunity to run for office, especially if you’re in the legal, corporate, or military profession. That would be a very interesting and much-appreciated addition.
All in all, keep up the good work, it’s a fun game!
I just wanna say.......
I want to first state that I never write reviews. This has to be my second review of any game I have had. I only write them because I mean it. I feel like I have been with bitlife from the beginning before it was popular. I remember finding it as an instagram ad with my friend. We decided to try it out because it looked like a good game. Turns out I have been hooked for so long. I was telling my friends about the game and called the game idiotic because I showed them a case were I had gotten someone pregnant at 13. So I can understand, but now everyone at my school and life is playing the game. I recommend this game from the bottom of my heart. It is so fun and also funny being a game that you tap the age button a couple of times and live out your life. My one little feed back about it is that I wish they brought back the yellow emojis because it doesn’t matter what color your character is. With the yellow emojis you can have whatever you want to believe you have. Sure, it can add to the simulation part, but otherwise I love the game. I am pretty young and if I had money I would donate a lot. Just because I love the game. Anyways, this is a pretty long review. All in all, one of the greatest games I have played.
