What's New in Version 2.3
You might not be able to afford a bike but if you can afford an Apple Watch, this update will add support for your Apple Watch!
Thanks to Michal S. for beta testing it!
Also fixed a bug where there was no way to display Montreal's bike paths.
Thanks to Paolo V. for reporting the bug!
Average iPhone app with broken watch app
The iPhone app has nothing to recommend it over any others- standard map with station info. The Apple Watch app was meant to be the differentiator here and it just isn't reliable enough to effectively serve that function. It displays "refreshing" for extended periods and never loads. Unclear whether one must launch the iPhone app to use the watch app but even if so, that defeats its purpose.
Works well, easy to use. Also, the only Divvy app I could find that doesn't demand to know my location even when I am not using it.
So much better than the "official" CycleFinder app!
- It supports favorite stations!
- It has "fullness" indicators (not like the official app where you have to explicitly select bikes/dock)!
- It has auto refresh, not like CycleFinder which will show you hours-old info unless you tap refresh
- It has an Apple Watch app!
All these things (maybe not the Apple Watch) should have been in the official app.
