An old favorite
My hubs family played this board game a ton and they loved it! I found this app and now they are all playing again. Yes - the help is a tad confusing. If the same symbol appears on the 2 sides when you launch a laser you know the laser has been deflected or reflected and the matching symbols let you deduce the path of reflection. The laser only has to hit a corner to be deflected. We can’t really figure out the 2 person option so that’s kinda confusing but otherwise it’s same as the board game and really fun! We had one today that had reflected off 6 corners so the path was crazy! Very challenging.
I had this board game back in the 70’s and loved it, so I was very excited when I found this app that plays just like the board game. It’s a game of hide and seek, and provides a great challenge. Someone commented something about weird symbols being used, which must pertain to the white zodiac symbols. However, if you understand the concept of the game, the symbols make perfect sense because they help indicate where the “beam” would enter and where it would exit on deflection. This is exactly what I was like looking for!!!
Plays just like Black Box should
If you know what the Black Box game is then you'll know how to play this game. If you're unfamiliar with it you will become confused and give a poor review, but this is unnecessary. The rules are posted online as well as on Wikipedia.
Nice puzzle game - good for exercising your deductive reasoning.
