Keeping it going
Probably the best crossword Ap out here. Simple to use, clear interface, and intuitive controls. My third year using it, and still a favorite.
Many thanks to Red Sweater for keeping this wonderful Ap up to date.
Can’t download NY Times crosswords
Can’t download NY Times Crossowrd Puzzles
Hi there - thanks for taking the time to review my app. Black Ink should download the NY Times crosswords correctly. I just tested on my Mac and it seems to be working. I wonder if you are a subscriber to the NYT? Drop me a line firstname.lastname@example.org if you'd like me to help you solve this problem. Thanks again for leaving a review.
I noticed the Sunday sized puzzles were printing on 2 pages for those of us who still prefer to solve with pencil and paper. This was not a very satisfactory outcome which was not a problem with Across Lite. In Black Ink the grid is much larger (nice) and easier to read, but the clues on 2 pages were unwieldy. I resolved this by using legal size paper to print out the puzzles. (It still tries to print on 2 pages but all you get on page 2 is the footer information, so save your paper and make sure you use your manual feed and set only to print 1 page.) I suggested to the software support to put this in their FAQ's because when I originally asked them about the printing issues they had no clue. They did respond quickly but had no clue how to fix it. Page set up did not work to resize the documents to print on one page. (I tried that first.)
