Customer Reviews

This game is a joke. The dealer rarely busts, and if you hit on any hand of 12 to 16 you will most likely bust, whereas in real Blackjack you at least have a slim chance of drawing and getting a 21. Also, the dealer gets an ungodly amount of 20's and 21's, not necessarily a Blackjack, but 21 in general. Lastly, it's not uncommon in this game for the dealer to get three or four Blackjacks in a row. I played this game for a month or so, got disgusted and "put it on the shelf" for almost a year. I recently "dusted it off" again just to see if I've been too harsh in my opinion. Nope, the game is worse than I ever thought. The game is without question slanted towards the dealer.

I hate to trash a game like this because it has what I am looking for, in that the graphics are great, and doesn't have cartoonish junk cluttering and taking away from the gameplay, is simple, in that I am just looking to play one-on-one against the dealer, and has options that let you alter how the game is played. However, it has a HUGE, major flaw in that it is coded to favor the dealer in unrealistic, and outrageous proportion, which, we all know comes down to wanting the player to buy more chips.

Rigged to Sell You Chips

At first, I thought others complaining that this game was rigged was just them being frustrated by not winning. And then I started calculating percentages of wins, logging each play, and not making any mistakes. I lost 62% of the time. Statistically, with the given rules of this game, I should only be losing 50.5% of the time.

When I then realized that this company wants to sell you chips for a game that you paid for, it all became clear. They probably make many many thousands of dollars selling chips to bored folks who will buy them, with no possible financial interest.

I'm now using Blackjack by Brainium Studios...a whole lot more accurate and fun. They are also not in the game to rip you off, like Mobilityware.

Programmed for Player to Lose

I'm an avid player, and have several of these games apps, I find that I lose much more frequently than I do in similar Apps, I also lose more frequently on this App than I do at Casinos at locations all over the country (i.e. Las Vegas, Reno, Indian Reservations, etc.). Therefore, I can only conclude this App is programmed to win more than the player. Most likely so persons will use in app spending on more tokens. I've found this to be true of many games like these. Because of this, they take the fun out of the game. I cannot recommend this game to anyone. As a matter of fact, I'm deleting this app from both my iPhone and iPad. Sorry programmers, you've taken the fun out of it.
