Simply click the start button and Disk Speed Test will write test your disk using large blocks of data, and then display the result. Disk Speed Test will continue to test writes and reads from your disk so you can evaluate both performance and readability over time.

Latest update doesnt allow app to launch
Programmers and developers tend to believe theyre somehow smarter than the rest of us.. Yet, many do the dumbest things.. Things the rest of us wouldnt even think of doing (or not doing)… Such as, not even test their own app after theyve updated it. Shameful.

10.6.8.... and my machine is extremely lean, not bogged down with loads of apps, programs,... nothing running in the background outside of the OS itself
machine meets all the supposed compatibility requirements, but like most all the other reviews here, it DOES NOT WORK...
it immediately "quits unexpectedly" when you try to open it....
downloaded, app didn't work... so deleted and re-downloaded and it's still completely non-functional
Works for me!
Not sure what people are complaining about. Works on my 2011 MBA, and 2014 MBPR.
