Heart warming, Beautiful Art filled game
I am a student attending an art collage. I won’t go into detail on that because it doesn’t matter but I study all different kinds of art and this is the warmest piece I’ve felt so far. This is a truly inspiring game and goes into great detail allowing the mind to wander to all different places and unleashing even the toughest mans imagination. After playing this game I cried for a while and I drew everything I was imagining and the outcome was something I thought I could never have created. This game is an amazing piece of art and literature out together to create something I would have never have dreamed of. I can’t explain in words how this game can melt your heart and rebuild it. I give this game 5 stars hands down thank you developers for creating this and I hope in the future you create more of these games from different perspectives.
Beautiful, leaving us wanting more
I don't even know if I have the right words to describe this little game. It was so beautiful and showed a level of immersion that is hard to find in App Store games. The storyline and audio beauty made me close my eyes as I was playing as I became a part in the story. The music was hands down my favorite part of the game, it seemed to open up my entire view. My only wish is that there was a little more to the game itself. And maybe I'm right or maybe I'm just desperate to see more of this astonishing gameplay. But I really do hope people pick up on this and create games with this same amount of immersion that just puts the player in the same reality as the game. I loved this game, and thank you, creators for giving us this unique experience, however short it may have been.
Gave me chills
I don't usually write reviews (in fact I don't think I've ever written one before on the App Store), but when an app makes me feel like this, it seems an injustice not to. This experience didn't last more than 5 minutes, but gave me chills and left me feeling more than a little sad. Blindscape proves that you don't need fancy graphics or 15+ hours of gameplay to create a masterpiece. Just so you know what to expect when downloading the game, it's a story told entirely through dialogue of a man living in a dystopian world. It reminds me of 1984 by George Orwell or perhaps Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. I could definitely see this game being made into a longer, more immersive game explaining what happens next. Bravo, Gavin! Can't wait to see what you come up with next.
