Are you looking for a mind-boggling new gaming experience?
BlindSide throws you into a fully-immersive 3d audio adventure set in a world you’ll never see. Put on headphones, hold your iPhone, and face the direction you want to go. Listen as the world rotates around you and explore the darkness. The gyros in your device will point your in-game avatar the same direction you're facing in the real world!
You play as Case, an assistant professor who wakes up blind, to find his city destroyed and mysterious creatures devouring people. Will you and your girlfriend be able to find your way without sight? How will you escape?
Run for your life, save the girl (and occasionally get saved yourself), and uncover the mystery of the apocalypse.
-Over 1000 sound effects and pieces of dialogue
-Gyroscope-enabled virtual reality
-Custom audio algorithms turns stereo headphones into surround sound
-New levels of audio horror
-Accessible for blind and sighted users alike

What's New in Version 1.02
Older generation iOS devices now supported using low quality mode!
Fixed tutorial bug that prevented a few users from completing the tutorial.
Neat idea poorly executed
Navigation is frustrating; your position seems to change every time you respawn. I've been going north, south and east and keep running into the 'same' things, making it impossible to get my bearings.
Audio stutters rather than fading smoothly between channels, and it isn't clear if I'm facing something or if its behind me.
Audio cues for whether you're doing something right are vague and occasionally indistinguishable from environmental sounds. Is that my hand sliding along a wall, or a car engine that won't start?
The voice acting is amateurish to the point of being distracting. I don't hear a character in peril, I hear a voice actor reading from a script in a sound booth.
When 99% of your game is audio, it pays to spend a little more on a good voice actor and more time fine-tuning the sound effects.
Blind as a bat
And loving it.
The concept may not be new, but the game does crank it up to the next level.
Papa Sangre is another game where everything is audio-only, except BlindSide takes it and cranks it to 11, with a lot more audio and interaction, for an immersive experience.
Recommend both games, though!!
The Developers are VERY responsive to email questions, which increases my admiration of them and their work. Great job you guys!
Plays well with the iPhone 5.
Take caution, if you're easily scared. Muahahaha
This game reminds me of a roller coaster, because of the cliffhanger ending. I wouldn't have paid what I paid for the game if I would've known it was so short, but it was excellent anyway. Plan giving you my five stars, even though it was way too short. By the way, try playing it while doing common household tasks. Still be disoriented in no time! That'll throw you off even more than the game itself.
