Fantasy worlds update!
I love your game and been playing about twice per day since the ranked update came out. I'm only going to give you guys 4 stars because I think this game needs a little fantasy in it which is why I'm suggesting a game of thrones (A Song Of Ice And Fire) map and middle earth from LOTR. If this gets done, The map sizes should be large enough with enough territories so you're not touching somebody else's territory right away like the South Pacific and the eastern front maps. You could also add new cards to the fantasy maps if they get done. An example would be the balrog card would represent the extra attack dice, sauron=Treachor, felbeast=2x air strike, eagles=3x air strike, smaug=nuke, nazgul=assassination, and I don't know what to call it but in the first movie when the elf girl says the spell and the river washes away the nazgul would = defense. Reinforcement cards would be represented by 1=dwarves, 2=Rohan answering the beacons and 3=goblin horde or the undead in the return of the king. Or each color would be a different race; red=sauron, blue=men, yellow=dwarves, green=elves, purple=Easterlings and black=goblins of gundabad. Each race could have its own design of cards or even just the ones I suggested above would be more than enough.
Same player multiple devices?
There's too much in-cheating. Players making illogical decisions or protecting each other until one wins irrationally as is the case with so many of these risk games. It's to the point where you question if its one player with multiple devices... Or something to that effect. Otherwise it's an awesome clone of risk. The games I described are about 30% of the time with the 70% the others are instances of great multiplayer strategy events. 10 minute games and hour long games can happen. And there are sometimes hosts who change the standard rules to keep it interesting. I do question weather there are real players all the time and not just app administrators trying to 'elevate' the app presence or if I'm playing bots??? Sometimes games don't make sense. But it's a solid clone of risk. Except for some weird disturbing Arab vs White people kind of rivalry going on... That is disturbing enough to never have me play again.
It would be great but...
It's plagued by many things. It suffers from a poor server that disconnects at least one time every time you play. Quitting is a major issue seeing as how it ruins a game. Player inactivity is also a problem equivalent to that of quitting. There Is a lack of design in some maps like pacific theater, and there aren't enough maps to begin with, especially for larger games. You can't pick your color :/. Then, lastly, people join a lobby game and leave a lobby game as soon as they join it, making it almost impossible to get games quickly. If they fixed the server, made bigger maps, penalized quitters and inactive players, had a holding time when you join a lobby, then this game would be great. Then if you fixed all of that, adding a higher player capacity would be great, making the game actually very interesting and stand out like from other similar games.
