How to use BlurCam? Just as in Photoshop Layer Mask.
You can take a picture or import your photo from the album into BlurCam. Every photo on BlurCam will be blurred automatically. You just need to use your finger drawing on the screen and the area on which you are drawing will turn out to be sharp. So you can easily get a photo of blurred background and the theme is still sharp.
BlurCam used the same concept of Photoshop to edit your photo. Every photo on BlurCam has two separate layers and a layer mask, just as in Photoshop. The top photo will be applied on Gaussian Blur filter, so your photo will be blurred in the beginning. When you draw on the screen, in face you are drawing on the top photo mask. You mask out some area to show the bottom photo and it is your original photo, so it is a sharp image.
BlurCam allows you to apply Gaussian Blur and Color Saturation filter on the photo. By applying Gaussian blur filter and adjusting the blur size to produce a shallow depth of field effect just as a professional DSLR. You can also set the saturation of your background image to make your photo stand out. Zooming in some area to exam it if you need.
BlurCam let you set the brush options to erase or unerase your photo and adjust the edge of your brush to get the hard or soft appearance. If you set brush edge to be soft, you can get very smooth image from blurred to sharp effect on your photo.
BlurCam, it is easy to use and very simple and intuitive. Adjusting saturation to reduce the color of the photo to create gray scale-like image. If you go back to adjust the blur size, DrawFocus will remove the adjustment of saturation to original color. So you can adjust blur size and saturation repeatly to achieve the best result, as you like.
If you are a photographer, graphic designer, visual effect worker, BlurCam will be the first choice for you.
If you load a photo, the app crashes. Try to reboot your iPhone to empty your RAM and try again. If the app keeps crashing, try to load smaller photo to avoid overloading iPhone RAM.
