This is a simple app that lets you calculate your BMI.
Does what it says
It does what it says. It calculates the BMI based on height, that's it. It is a tool one can use to measure progress if you are losing or gaining. If you're 5'2" and 85 lbs don't argue with an app, talk to your doctor about why you're 'underweight'. If you're not happy that your result is 'overweight' or 'obese', again, consult your doctor. An app is no substitute for the qualified medical advice of a doctor.
Not happy with this app at all. Does not allow you to differentiate between men and women (and there IS a difference). Also cannot add any fractions so if someone is 125.5 you have to round down or up and same for height. This can make a difference especially if using to determine if someone is overweight and they are on cusp. Deleting this app and getting one more accurate.
Simple & useful
I like this not only because of the ease of use but also because it is useful in goal setting. I can enter desired weights & see the BMI as well as the delineation of where I would be for obese, overweight, & normal. This gives me mile posts for the weight loss process.
