Description

This is the Classroom Library Company's accompanying app for managing book borrowing between teachers, parents and students.

It allows you to scan, level and inventory your entire Classroom Library, giving you leveling data such as Guided Reading Levels, Lexile, Accelerated Reader, Reading Counts, DRA and Reading Recovery. The handy label printing function allows you to print the leveling data wirelessly and easily attach the labels to your books! We have almost one million titles in our database and we are adding more every day.

Easily send notes to parents via the app or call parents from your device.

App also includes a free sample of our Exclusive Classroom Library Book written by Reba Wadsworth and Lester Laminack!

Customer Reviews

Pretty Good App

I use this app to sort and catalog my large home library. Despite the poor reviews, I downloaded the app. When I first opened it, it was a little confusing. There were messages that popped up saying "Could not log in." With a little searching, I found that you actually had to create an account via "Settings." (The settings within the app, not your device.) Next, to use the barcode scan, you do have to download a free app. After these steps, I was able to scan books. This app works very well overall, and perfectly for what I need. However, for some reason, I cannot use the "bulk add" on the app. If that were possible, I would probably give the app 5 stars. Also, some books even after scanning with the barcode scanner you must manually input because the app doesn't recognize the book. Overall, pretty good app for its purpose.

Not as easy to use as I thought it'd be

I was really looking forward to using this app in my classroom. But it took way too long to enter in all of my books. The barcode scanner wouldn't work half the time. It kept saying the book had already been added, which it hadn't. I had to manually put in most of my books, which wasted a lot of time. The books that did scan, I had to put in the info anyway because it didn't recognize the book. Overall, I was disappointed in this app. I expected more out of it.

It's very buggy

I had really high hopes for this app-- and at first, it worked wonderfully! Now, though, it glitches more often than it works. I can no longer successfully add students (I'm given a message saying "student added!" but they never show up in my student list and I cannot check books out to them). I cannot check books back in anymore, either.
I think this app has
some GREAT potential-- but someone needs to be more on top of bug fixing.
