BookLeveler helps educators, parents, and librarians quickly and easily find appropriately leveled content for young readers. App users can scan the ISBN barcode of a book or search for content by title and/or author to appropriately level and store that content based on their in-classroom experience.
BookLeveler provides three categories of A-Z levels for each book: your leveled library, teacher-trusted crowd-sourced levels, and text-analysis-based Meridian levels. We believe that educators instinctively know the level of a book, we have designed this application to crowd source this professional knowledge. Meridian then uses this knowledge to predict the level of similar books.
Therefore our A-Z levels are constructed with your help! The more levels you submit, the better the results will be for determining levels of books.

Doesn't Find Much
Download this after seeing it a review of it on a blog and thought it might a good one to suggest to teachers, parents, end even those really dedicated students. After downloading it I started scanning my daughters' book and the app was only able to 1 out of the 5 I scanned. I think this app has a lot of potential, but needs a larger database of books before it becomes very useful.
Small DB of of books
I scanned about 30 books from our collection. I'm not talking old obscure books either. It found 5. You also have to supply your own reading level for the book. If I knew the reading level, I wouldn't need to scan it to find out if it is appropriate for my children; I would already know.
Not even worth the time it takes to register an account.
