— Everything in one place
All your books, quotes, and notes get saved in Bookmate. Read or listen anywhere: in the subway, at the beach, on a plane. Keep your favourite books on your device to enjoy them offline. Readers can also upload ebooks in .epub or .fb2 format.

Friends are great at recommending books you’ll love. With Bookmate you can keep up with what they’re reading and listening to, and find new friends with similar interests. Share your books, quotes, impressions, and get likes.
— Customise and get comfortable
For the best ebook experience, adjust the brightness and change the font or the background screen colour. Audiobook listeners can set a timer and change the speed to suit. Start and stop as needed — begin on one device and pick up where you left off on another.
Bookmate is an ebook and audiobook service that’s available globally. In addition to a free public domain catalogue, we also offer Standard, Premium, and Audiobook subscriptions, which give partial and complete access to our ebook and audiobook catalogues. These services are renewable on an annual or monthly basis, for a fixed monthly fee.
Renewal charges are automatically debited at least 24 hours prior to the end of the previous period. However, readers can manage their subscription package and choose to switch off the auto-renewal option in their Account Settings.
If a reader is on a free trial and chooses to purchase a subscription during that time, they forfeit any unused portion of the free trial period.

● Text searches within each book are finally (!) possible
● Readers can now recommend audiobooks and comics – as well as books – to friends
● The library page is more fluid: no more dragging
iPhone 5, 5s, and SE users will be pleased to see that the first line of each paragraph in the reader starts closer to the left edge – not in the centre.
We’ve also corrected some minor mistakes – meaning Bookmate is faster and more stable.
Ratings and Reviews
Thousands of books only a few taps away.
I also did not realize this was an automatic renewal. Now I can not figure out how to cancel it. TERRIBLE. Plus you can’t rate it zero stars. It doesn’t deserve one star.

If you've started your trial through iTunes you can cancel the auto renewal following this instruction: https://support.apple.com/ru-ru/HT202039
We always warn about the auto renewal before the trial or payment.
If you've started trial on our website, you need to cancel it on bookmate.com
Don’t go for it!0
I thought this was free. I saw that there was a “premium” app but I did not sign up for that. It’s only when you download the app to see what the book selections Are like and how the app works, do you find out that they are going to charge you $9.99 a month. Ridiculous. Immediately I decided to cancel this app. I copied their directions on how to cancel. I could not do this on my I Phone but I will not rest until this scam is canceled.
Sorry for the 1star. It really should be zero stars.
AND - guess what. They tell you to enter a name for the review and whatever you try to enter for a name, they tell you it’s already taken. I just went in and gave a word, not a name and that’s taken.

Our app itself is free — you can upload your own fb2 and epub files and use Bookmate as a reader. There are also many free books in the app — you can find them by choosing topic 'free' in the search bar.
Other books and audiobooks are available with the subscription, but we don't force our readers into it. You can cancel the auto renewal anytime. Information about in-app purchases is clear on our app's AppStore page.
It seems that you haven't started a free trial (that's why you can't find where to cancel Bookmate subscription), but if you are worried you can reach out to us through firstname.lastname@example.org. Please, send your login to us, and we will check your subscription status.
