Help please

I really liked this game it had a nice story and cool enemies well the thing is when i saw all docs to 1.99 i bought son of crawmerax to check it out (it was my first dlc) then i noticed i needed to update borderlands 2 to play it and so i did. I played the whole dlc and then continued my mission, i quoted the game and on the next day when i when to play it the game said “the application is damage delete it and re download it from purchases and so i did but i got and “error could not download borderlands 2” well it wasnt uncommon what happened to me was that when i downloaded the game the first time or i updated it it took the usual 10 hours and if my computer sleeped during that time it would say “error could not download blah blah blah” so i had to be active in the computer while it downloaded but now i put it to download and it instantly looks like it downloaded everything but then it says borderlands 2 was unable to download etc. so now i cant play the game for that update so instead i bought the first game which was on discount and so i keep trying to download but it won’t please help

P.S. except for the download thingy it was extremely good game :D

Great game, but App Store version is crippled

This is a great sequel to Borderlands. Although there are some plot holes, the storyline is far more coherent than the original game. The humor is better as well. I’ve played all the way through on Assassin mode and am starting other characters. It was challenging without being overly frustrating, though some of the side quests seem inordinately difficult.

One flaw in the game is the restrictions that other reivewers mention on the App Store version; limited multiplayer and no Shift codes. I don’t play multiplayer, but the lack of Shift codes is annoying. There is a golden chest in Sanctuary, the main mission hub of 90% of the game that you see when you arrive every time. It’s supposed to be unlockable with golden keys, but there is no way to get a golden key in the Mac App version. Fine, but why keep the chest in the game, then?

That aside, I really enjoyed the game and felt it well worth the purchase price. I’ve played the original for hours on end and am looking forward to exploring to find what I missed on my first playthrough.

Having purchased this game via the apple App store I can say it is awesome. Fun game play, good for MONTHS worth of fun. That said DO NOT BUY FROM APP STORE!!!! There are a ton of really great features I missed out on, namely swift codes which allow you to get free goodies a bit after the beginning of the game. This is a crucial, critical, important GREAT part of the game that Apple has on lock down via the app store. I also discourage buying from the app store because you do not get the fleshed out multiplayer search and It’s a shame because I put months worth of game play in which is an absolute necissity for the late game. Of course I spent money on the game itself, a ton of DLC stuff before realizing that I was stuck because of the restrictions Apple has arbitrarily placed on this game. I cannot emphasize this enough, BUY FROM STEAM DO NOT BUY THIS FROM APP STORE!!!!
