Surprisingly Great!
I've played all of the Borderlands games, so I decided to give this one a try. Though it doesn't really fit into the series, it is really fun. This is also the first tactical game I've been good at! I think you'll enjoy this game the most if you've played Borderlands 1, or maybe just Borderlands 2, even though this game uses the Borderlands 1 characters. Luckily this game requires no internet, so when our town had a black out for a week, this game was my savior. It is a little spendy at 4.99, but it is a really cool game, and if you like the Borderlands series as much as me (which is sort of a lot), you'll like this game. Happy Vault hunting!
Veteran's Game
I have played every form and shape of borderlands, all DLCs on console and pc. This game has made a big breakthrough, bl1&2 were very simple and no strategy was needed, on this game you have to let your character help each other with abilities and all, also bringing back Lilith, Roland, mordercai, and brick's original action skills, they have also added 2 new ones to each character. This game has made me happy, all my characters are over lvl30. I understand the beginning is quite boring, but at higher levels u fight a giant slag rider, general Knox, and probably many more higher than me. Buy this game and you won't regret it!
Not worth the 5$ I paid
Words cannot describe how much I love the borderlands trilogy of games. I bought this game thinking that it would be a good strategy game fitted into the borderlands games somewhere. However, at the start of the game your characters are extremely underpowered, making it though to get past the first few missions. I also found that Lilith's Phasewalk is near useless unless you are using it to get in range of an enemy. I found Mordecai as my goto vault hunter because of his long range, and Brick is someone whom I find useless, instead of being my favorite vault hunter in the first game. Better range on all characters and free choice of weapons would be a great improvement and maybe a lowered price, but other than that, I did not like this game because of said reasons. Caio.
