Boulder Trainer is designed for those of you who like the idea of structured fingerboard training but have no idea where to start.

Boulder Trainer is a very useful app for people who enjoys climbing and bouldering, which like to increase their strength and fitness for climbing and bouldering.

With Boulder Trainer you can create your own training sequences which will make your training more efficient. It doesn't matter if you have your own fingerboard or just a door frame available.

This app is very flexible, you can even use it for a freeletics exercises.

Easy to setup:
Boulder Trainer comes with 28 preset fingerboards, but you can also set up your own hand made training board. Just take a photo, add numbers to every hold and that's it. You are ready to create your own exercises and getting better in climbing and bouldering.

Developer Statement:
When I bought my first fingerboard, I was annoyed from the fact that there was no reasonable description for the workout or how to use the board, so I created the Boulder Trainer app, which supports the workout and motivates. Please note that Boulder Trainer is a small private project, which I started by my own and I'm trying to keeping it alive and professional which is not always as easy as it appears.

best app available... wishing for iwatch integration now

Have tried most, if not all hangboard apps out and have stuck with this one the last year or so. I love the ability to custom build whatever routine you want. I have several hangboards and multiple different routines depending on my training cycle. I save them to the online *beta* site and it syncs across my two iphones and my ipad. Now the only thing I can wish for is iwatch support which would be perfect...

Exceptional app

This is just what I've been looking for. The app is very customizable, comes with workouts to get you started, and even an online community to share or download workouts. I hope there will continue to be updates, like having a total time at the bottom of the workout (showing how long the workout will take) and during the workout, a counter to tell you how many exercises left until the end...but so far so good. Do the workouts by yourself or with a friend--the voice reminders won't let you gab for too long before remembering you have to get back on the wall. 👍🏻

Best on the AppStore

This hangboard timer is the best I've been able to find currently on the AppStore. I just wish it had a couple additional features, like: ability to input weight added or subtracted (the notes feature is way too much work as for a workout with 8 hangs/5 reps each would mean inputting weight 40 times) and a rest period that shows a preview of the next hang so you can start adding or subtracting weight. If those were added this would be a 5-star app for sure!
