About Michael the Boxer
Michael the Boxer (aka Michael Onello) is a former amateur boxer, professional boxing trainer and motivational speaker with 20-years experience. Michael was selected twice for the training camp of World Heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis. Michael has a boxing record of 28-2 and has written and published two books on the sport of boxing. Now he brings his knowledge to you.
This app is incredibly advanced, I feel that I am actually with a personal trainer. I especially appreciate being able to customize my own music to each round in the work out. The app & trainer offers clear instructions that make it easy to follow and complete this workout feeling that I actually worked out in a boxing gym. Michael the Boxer makes it possible to grasp form, punches and stretches, while working up a sweat in the privacy of your own home. This is an awesome app! I have come across other boxing apps but this one is the most professional, advanced, fun, informative and physically challenging.

I was hesitant to buy an app for boxing, given the fact that there are many free 'timer' apps out there. But I was surprised when I first tried it. Mike commands you to hit the punching bag quickly and randomly! Pictures for stretching are helpful. Too bad it hasn't been updated since they first developed it, but it looks OK on the iPhone 6 (iOS9).
This app is perfect and does not matter if your a beginner,an advanced boxer, or just looking for a killer workout. The tutorial videos and pictures are really helpful and show you the correct technique. The workouts are really good and can be customized depending what intensity you are looking for and what type of shape you are in. Get this app it's well worth it.
