BrainCheck turns gold-standard neurocognitive tests into interactive mobile games that track the performance of your brain health over time.
With our scientifically-validated tests, you can assess multiple cognitive domains in less than 10 minutes and view your results on the spot. Results sync across all devices and can be shared with doctors, family members, caregivers and clinicians.
Note: The size of instructional text and selection buttons will vary from iPad to iPhone. Due to the performance tracking nature of BrainCheck, it is important to take our tests on the device that you are most comfortable with.
BrainCheck is not a diagnostic tool and does not treat brain health conditions. In the event of an injury, please consult a medical professional.
For decades, doctors and scientists have relied on pencil-and-paper tests to measure brain health. But modern technology enables us to bring these tests into the 21st century and offer people everywhere easy, affordable access to their brain health from wherever they are.
Backed by 20 years of research conducted at the Eagleman Neuroscience Laboratory at Baylor College of Medicine, BrainCheck empowers everyday people with data and empowers scientists to innovate.
BrainCheck's goal is to help people of all ages understand what's happening in their brain, while improving concussion and dementia care along the way.

The load results page was BLANK. Nothing at all after I took the test. Very disappointed and a waste of 10 minutes.
Needs lots of work
Not so great
My daughter had a TBI a few years ago in a car accident and so I am always looking for apps for her to help with memory and to improve cognitive function. After spending time with her in institutions such as TIRR and Touchstone Neurorecovery I ask many more questions than the average individual. What attracted me initially was that it said concussion app. I wondered what it could possibly be for because there is no way that anyone should trust an app to diagnosis a concussion or deviation in cognition. That's what ER's are for. In looking at it further it seems it is marketed as an app to track your progress. So we went in and took the tests. The tests were odd, never saw anything like them in diagnosing or testing cognitive impairment at either facility and they are very similar but slightly different than the other apps that test or grade cognitive ability. Then I looked at the cot. Luminosity was the most expensive app we purchased for her but it was used in conjunction with various other apps and workbooks that were a fraction of a cost. I'm not really impressed with their interface. Definitely won't purchase for us or my family but it was interesting to see how I faired when compared to my daughter and grandmother who took the same tests. Glad there are more people developing apps to improve cognition but I don't think, at this time, this one is for us.
