Rooney is the only 'regular' kid in an elementary school of superheroes. When he wants to play soccer with his superhero classmates, they shun him because he's a mere mortal. Meanwhile at school, all the superheroes get involved in a daily eating contest, which Rooney bravely shuns. After a while, the superheroes become so heavy, they're bursting out of their superhero suits. Even worse, they’re unable to fly and utilize their super skills in the championship soccer game. WILL ROONEY GET TO PLAY SOCCER WITH THE SUPERHEROES? WILL HE END UP HELPING THE TEAM?

A Super-Awesome App for Kids!
My son LOVED the first Brave Rooney app and says this one is even more interactive and fun! We love that it has a positive message about eating healthy and being aware of the harmful effects of eating excessive amounts of junk food. My son has always been able to identify with Brave Rooney and has learned how heroes can come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. :) We wound up buying a personalized version of the Brave Rooney book via Frecklebox. Hoping for more Brave Rooney apps in the future!
Fun Story That Makes a Point
I want my kids to eat healthy and have fun while learning about it. This app, which is my second “Brave Rooney” one, tells its message in such a thoroughly enjoyable way. There’s even a couple of games to play - one uses the recommended, new food plate and the other allows them to play soccer by trying to ‘kick’ the ball past the goalie. Thanks to the people who put this app out!!!
Great App--must get for parents of young ones
I constantly work with young and new parents and one of the biggest concerns they voice to me is the struggle of getting their kids to eat healthy. This app is great because it uses a fun and sweet kid named Rooney to appeal to the young ones while delivering a message on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I recommend this to all my patients.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
