-- Braveheart is a good, tough action game. Every time you play, you acquire something, whether it’s gold, a new level, a weapon upgrade, or a perk – you always make progress. The spinning swing is a cool move, too; it’s fun to get up a head of steam and then arc into a horde of incoming enemies. Give it a download.
- IGN Score: 7.5 (Good).
-- Braveheart stands tall and proud, boasting refreshing controls, extensive character customization options and superb graphics.... The only real risk is once you get the game you won’t have time for much else.

-- You just might even end up being surprised, like I was, that games of this quality DO exist for the iPhone.

A solid, well-made game.
I was surprised how much I liked this game right away. It has an old-school feel to it that, for some reason, brings me back to my SNES days. And for me, that's a good thing as I have many good memories of my old Super Nintendo.
My favorite thing about this game so far, is that things happen very steadily. The leveling pace is great, perks rack up quickly, enemy drops are frequent, and each time a new store opens up, you get something free.
There's a challenge mode in addition to the story, the controls are very fluid and responsive, and the animations are very smooth. The graphics aren't amazing, but when you combine that with the other elements of the game, it gives it a pleasantly retro feel. The app runs well, gameplay is fun, there's lots of options and items, and it looks like it'll end up being a decent length. It even integrates TapJoy for free in-game currency. All in all, this is a great game that I definitely recommend.
One star lost due to bribing me with in game currency for a review. Needs a manual or an in depth FAQ, and the broken English in the cut scenes of the story mode is just painful to read. Seriously, I'll rewrite your story text if y'all want to pay me a modest amount of crystals. I'm not greedy, and you'll get better ratings when the story is bearable to read...
Good game, slow updates
This is one of my favorite games to play on the iPad but the developers are soooooo slow in expansions. I've had the game maxed out on levels and been impatiently waiting for the next release so I can continue to level up.
