This app is such a great resource for new breast feeding mothers. It is practical and concise and gives all of the information you need and none of the information you don't need about breast feeding. The internet is loaded with information about breast feeding which is both a blessing and a curse! It's overwhelming to sift through hundreds of websites looking for answers to your questions. It is even more overwhelming to overload yourself with too much complicated (and sometimes inaccurate) information when all you really want to do is feed your baby!
Everything here is simplified and organized in a really easy way. I loved the advice about coaxing yourself through, one feeding at a time, when things seem too difficult. In the very early weeks there were many times when I was convinced that breastfeeding wasn't working out. But now I am so glad that I stuck with it because nothing is more beautiful and perfect than sustaining your baby with your own body. It really does get easier if you stick with it and seek help from real professionals and resources like this.
Useful and Resourceful
As a brand new mommy facing trouble and discouragement while getting the hang of breastfeeding, this app has been a daily "go-to" for me. It has just the right amount of useful information to answer the appropriate questions without the insanity brought on by googling every little question or doubt that pops up for new nursing moms. the info is all in one place for frequent reference and there is no bombardment of info- just easy and useful advice...right to the point. It's a bit on the pricey side for this kind of app, but havig spent the same amount on worse bs, I say it's worth it to have this as a go-to guide. It has definitely helped me stay focused on breastfeeding when all I wanted to do was give up!
I was a slavering my pregnancy app when I was expecting - to look up foods and track our progress - but now that our little one is home this has become the app I'm on all the time. I really appreciate the convenience as apot on q and a section. My q is always did she she get enough milk ( I can never tell) and this app has answers plus tips (and gives me something to read during feedings). 3 am feedings can be a lonely place (esp when I never know if she got enough milk!) but I have this app to keep me company
