App randomly decides you are "away from home" while at the same time showing that you are connected to your home network. As a result of being classified "away" your programming choices are cut. Call in and their answer is to repeatedly sign in and out of the service until it resets (i.e., waste your time until it happens to right itself). In my opinion, it's just one more way Brighthouse fails to provide the service for which I pay. It's just like the "Lightning" speed we never get. Brighthouse is the worst provider I've ever had but there's no competition in my neighborhood. This app is another typical Brighthouse failure. Don't bother.

UPDATE: now it's "Channel Load Error" and you get even fewer channels available to view. These guys are terrible.

New Update: Down Again. Another "Channel Load Error" but this time witha phone number to call. Called the number. Sit on hold. First human to pick up asks for the issue and promptly transfers me back to hold so fast I don't even hear her full "hold, plea...". Wait some more. Next representative simply replies there is nothing for them to do as the whole system for streaming video is down. Big help. Why put up the error message asking the customer to call in? I'd rate this zero stars if the app store would let me.

AGAIN: Lists my home network yet says I'm away from home and cuts off channels for which I pay. Is there anyway to give zero stars on this rating?

It's worth less than 1 star!

The app switches from home to cellular constantly; leaving me to miss half of my favorite shows. On demand is worse. It randomly stops and goes back to the beginning with no fast forwarding option. This has been the worse 12 months of service from bright house in the 13 years I have been with them. When I call to complain, I get the same scripted answer, "There's an issue with the app and we are working on it." Att is nipping at your heels. Time to step it up BH!

Poor app

Used to love this app, but now I constantly get errors: randomly says I'm "not subscribed" even though I just watched an hour long show, says I'm "not on home network" when I'm clearly on my bright house wifi a foot away from my router, "channel load error" in the middle of my show, "unable to fulfill my request at this time call helpline". Reinstalling app doesn't work , turning off iPad fails and I'm definitely not wasting time and continually calling help desk.
