BHN Doesn’t Care That This App Is KRAP
Because they have you by the short hairs and laugh at you taunting you.
IF it decides to load completely, it will freeze and/or lag constantly, with the freezing taking place during the best parts of what you are trying to watch.
Every time you launch it (or change back from another app) it has to reload completely taking its own sweet time, or maybe it’ll just freeze on you during loading pretending it will eventually start up.
Oddest - but still annoying- thing it does is broadcast 3 different audio channels while you watch one video, with occasionally seeing a slim line of a second channel at the top of the screen.
Either bright house doesn’t care their app is garbage or they hire morons for programmers
This pos is completely frustrating and worthless. Best to go for a walk or read a book instead.
August 2015. Still worthless app. If you go back and forth from other apps it will suddenly unexpectedly decide to say something like account holder has blocked features or doesn't subscribe to this service and refuse to load up again. Frequently stations will just go color bar indefinitely. Forget ever trying to watch a program in its entirety.
I have a family with a lot of electronics. Out of all the electronics in this household there are 6 apple products that have this app downloaded on them.
I was the last one to get the app so I didn't know much too much about it. I've had it on my phone for probably a month now.
I was so excited in the beginning. I could watch a live feed of what's on tv with/without having the tv on.
But once I started getting this pop up question about downloading something to my wifi so it'll benefit the app, the app kept crashing.
I assume it kept crashing because I wouldn't download what it said to. I do not want what is being offered. I want to be able to use my own wifi while on the app. My wifi is pretty strong and I do not need back up. Or whatever the pop up was advertising.
Before this, the app never crashed on me. But since I started getting it, it literally crashes within seconds. I've tried to reload the app several times and I still can't get on.
It's unfortunate because this app could be amazing if it wouldn't crash so much.
App randomly decides you are "away from home" while at the same time showing that you are connected to your home network. As a result of being classified "away" your programming choices are cut. Call in and their answer is to repeatedly sign in and out of the service until it resets (i.e., waste your time until it happens to right itself). In my opinion, it's just one more way Brighthouse fails to provide the service for which I pay. It's just like the "Lightning" speed we never get. Brighthouse is the worst provider I've ever had but there's no competition in my neighborhood. This app is another typical Brighthouse failure. Don't bother.
